Tochigi Prefecture Selection Travels to Bangkok for Football Exchange Program

Football exchanges between Thailand and Japan continued as Europlus International organized a football exchange program for the young players from the Tochigi Prefecture Selection to Bangkok for a fruitful football experience.

The Tochigi Prefecture Selection played friendly matches with North Bangkok University FC and Chamuchuri United. The young players also had a chance to be exposed to different form of training in a football clinic conducted by a local football academy, the Premier Football Academy.

Tochigi Prefecture (栃木県 Tochigi-ken) is a prefecture located in the Kantō region of Japan. The capital is the city of Utsunomiya. Located close to Tōkyō, Tochigi is home to many corporations and industrial zones, including the Kiyohara Industrial Complex, one of
the largest inland industrial complexes in the country.

Their local football club is Tochigi S.C. currently plays in the 2018 J2 League. Tochigi, uniquely, is the only major Japanese professional club to retain the word “soccer” in its English name, despite efforts by football authorities to minimize the incidence of the word in the J.League. Their main club sponsors are IT service management company TKC Corporation and Kawachi Chemicals Co. Ltd

Maybe in the near future we could see Tochigi S.C travel to Bangkok for pre-season friendlies with clubs based in Bangkok for future collaborations.
